The Challenge

Elevate and enhance Symphony Innovate tech and global market conference in a way that establishes brand cohesiveness, generates a social media presence, and appeals to fintech attendees. Translate the design aesthetic to a later virtual conference for hundreds of remote attendees worldwide.

The Strategic Solution

Mark Stephen collaborated with Symphony, a tech platform that streamlines secure collaboration, connects information systems, and automates workflow across global markets for more than 1,000 top-tiered financial institutions, including JPMorgan Chase & Co., Citi, and Goldman Sachs. In the live experience, we expanded upon the client’s brand guidelines to create a cohesive 3-D environment. Consulting with all partners (lighting, video, catering), we elevated all elements from layout to environmental graphics to decor and stage design. To achieve a social media presence, Mark Stephen designed and created "Instagram moments" by incorporating fun elements with client messaging. We also integrated sponsors into overall design with custom kiosks. When the conference moved online, we expanded the brand's DNA into the digital realm by developing a consistent design aesthetic replicated at virtual conferences in the US and Europe.
