Carol's Daughter, Wash Day Delight Launch

The Challenge

Design, produce, and manage an engaging environment to generate excitement among key media and beauty influencers around the launch of L'Oreal's Carol’s Daughter new water-to-foam shampoo, Wash Day Delight.

The Strategic Solution

Building upon the brand's water-to-foam attribute, Mark Stephen celebrated the otherwise-common ritual of washing one's tresses by creating a stylized environment complete with oversized bubbles set against the playful hues of green and turquoise. From the faux, translucent shower and foaming bubble bath to complimentary cocktails from the "bubble bar," guests immersed themselves in the spa-like experience.

Strategic social media engagement included a branded backdrop constructed with aloe plants, Wash Day Delight’s fundamental ingredient. In addition, our on-site management encouraged beauty influencers to share an array of magnetic key phrases to describe their unique wash day ritual. To further engage and educate, Carol’s Daughter stylists used the salon-style, fully functioning hair washing basins installed on the branded stage to demo how to utilize the tangle-free product best.
